Brunch for Health to Launch Foundation’s Christmas Appeal

The Yarmouth Hospital Foundation’s third annual Christmas Appeal will be officially launched on Sunday, November 7th with a Brunch for Health sponsored by Rodd Grand Yarmouth.

All proceeds from the brunch will be donated towards the Foundation’s Christmas Appeal for the purchase of new biphasic defibrillators for the nursing units of the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. This critical equipment is used as a first response for heart attack victims. Each unit cost $16,000. The Foundation would like to raise enough funds during November and December to purchase at least two of these units .

Brunch seatings are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. , 12:30 & 1:30 p.m. Reservations can be made by contacting Rodd Grand at 742-2446.

The event will also include draw prizes every 15 minutes, children’s activities in the Clare/Argyle room, and a family swim.
