Wall of Honour

The Donor Wall of Honour, located in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital’s front lobby, is a tribute to the many individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations, which have given a cumulative total of $5,000 or more to the Foundation since its incorporation in 1992.

Each plaque may include the names of individuals, families, organizations, foundations or companies. Names on the plaques may also represent donations received for any individual a donor wishes to honour.

Names are added to the Wall of Honour when a donor has reached a cumulative total of $5,000 or more. Many donors choose to make a pledge commitment that they pay over time, making it easier to give a major gift to support the work of the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation. Donors have the opportunity to move up through the different levels as their giving total increases.

The wall is updated as required to include the names of new donors while moving some donors up to a higher category.

Donors are recognized at the following levels of giving:

  • Founders: $250,000 and over
  • Patrons: $100,000 and over
  • Benefactors: $75,000 - $99,999
  • Leaders: $25,000 - $74,999
  • Fellowship: $10,000 - $24,999
  • Friend: $5,000 – $9,999

"Donating to the Foundation has helped my family come to terms with the loss of my mother. The Foundation's efforts made a significant impact upon the quality of care she received during her stay at the Yarmouth Hospital."
