Every year Wilson’s Home Hardware, Barrington NS, raises funds in support of the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation Christmas Appeal.  Far left, Paulette Sweeney-Goodwin, YHF Managing Director and far Right, Dave Wilson, owner of Wilsons Home Hardware, are on hand to make a presentation of “Buddy Bears” to staff of the Maternal Child Unit.  Customers coming to Dave’s store over the holidays purchased a bear to be given to children coming to the hospital in hopes that their ‘little buddy’ would help to ease the fear of being in a hospital…. Staff tell us “it works!”  The bears and the proceeds from each purchase were donated to the Foundation.  This is just one of the many ways that Dave Wilson and his dedicated staff help their Regional Health Center.
